At the Campsite
At our campsite, the sanitary building "De Koepel" is equipped with specially adapted facilities for people with disabilities. This spacious bathroom includes a mirror, sink, shower, toilet, and an emergency safety cord. You can collect a key for the accessible bathroom at the reception. A deposit of €12.50 is required in advance, and you will have access to these facilities throughout your stay.
The paths at the campsite are paved and easily accessible, and both the reception and the dining area are wheelchair accessible.
Unfortunately, our rental accommodations are not accessible for wheelchair users and do not have additional adaptations for people with disabilities.
At the Beach
At the beach pavilion "Zee van Tijd," a beach wheelchair is available, allowing everyone to enjoy the beach! This beach wheelchair cannot be reserved in advance. The beach access near our campsite, "Strandopgang Zandloper," is fully paved, but please be mindful of the slope.
If you wish to drive to the beach, you can apply online for a permit from the municipality of Den Helder for "Strandopgang Julianadorp." With the permit, you will receive a card to open the barrier at the beach entrance. You can apply for a temporary access pass for one day or for up to two weeks. This pass is available at Landal Beach Resort Ooghduyne, located at Van Foreestweg 20 in Julianadorp (tel: +31223 64 01 00), or at the Tourist Information Center at Willemsoord 52 in Den Helder (tel: +31223 61 61 00).
