Klimvallei
In Mariëndal, at the edge of Den Helder, adjacent to the Donkere Duinen woods, one can find the KlimVallei! A climbing park with challenging hurdles at different heights. The Eco-Climbing park was constructed while fully respecting nature, which shows in the use of sustainable materials.
The park is suitable for anyone courageous who is also physically fit. The hurdles at 4 to 8 metres high and 3 Ziplines make it attractive for the young and old! No chance of getting bored in the Helderse Vallei! In addition to climbing, there is lots more to do. There is a petting zoo, visitors centre, bare-feet path, outdoor theatre and a great watch tower. There are hiking, biking and canoeing trails and a real ATB race-track.
The Climbing Valley is at walking distance (max. 10 minutes) from the dunes, the sea and the beach. Plenty of activities for everyone!
